At Tulsa Honor Academy (THA), we are on a mission to equip all scholars with the academic skills, content knowledge, and ethical character required for college graduation and life success.
We believe ALL scholars, regardless of race, background, income or ability, can achieve at high levels. We work relentlessly to ensure 100% of scholars are on a path to go to and graduate from a college of their choice, beginning in the fifth grade.
Opening our doors in 2015 with 92 fifth grade scholars, THA will grow to serve over 1,300 scholars in grades 5-12 across our two campuses in the 2024-2025 academic year.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Tulsa Honor Academy’s Family Engagement Manager will support staff and scholars in achieving our 2025-2026 goal: Every Scholar. Every Day. The Family Engagement Manager plays a vital role in fostering strong relationships between families, scholars, and the school community to support scholar success. This role focuses on executing attendance intervention strategies in collaboration with School Leadership and Operations Teams to ensure scholars remain on track for strong attendance.
In future school years, this role’s focus may shift but will always center on driving family investment in academics, school culture and their scholar’s growth and achievement.

Core Responsibilities
- Execute Attendance Intervention Strategies: The Family Engagement Manager will support the School Leadership Teams and School Ops Teams in executing attendance intervention strategies to support scholars who are not on track to be chronically present.
- External Partners: The Family Engagement Manager will develop relationships with external partners to increase supports for families who are not chronically present. In coordination with the Director of Scholar Interventions, the Family Engagement Manager will identify collaboration opportunities with outsourced counseling services.
- Increase Supports for Academics: The Family Engagement Manager will identify and in some cases, execute, strategies to increase support for scholars when they need to complete make up work or for scholars who need additional academic support/intervention.
- Identify and Execute Additional Supports: The Family Engagement Manager will identify additional supports to ensure families can attend school. This may include additional transportation, clothing, food, etc. that increase access for families.

Qualifications/Certifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
Experience
- 2 years of experience as a Family Engagement Manager or similar role preferred
- Prior experience in a school serving a similar population to THA’s is preferred
- Charter school experience is strongly preferred
Role
- The Family Engagement Manager will work on THA’s Network Team and report to the Chief Operations Officer.
- Full time, year round, exempt.
Compensation and Benefits
